Can you believe this guy is 30? He still gets id'd at casinos! Well it is true Rob turned the big 30 today! Unfortunately it was almost just like every other day-leave for school at 7am, work hard all day trying to get straggly teeth to look good, come home exhausted still needing to read 100 pages! Rob usually has gross anatomy 3 nights a week but this week he only has it 2 night so he had tonight off!! That alone was a
great birthday present!!We didn't do anything too fancy. We hung at home and BBQ'd baby back ribs, ate juicy watermelon, potato salad, and baked beans- all of which are Rob's favorites!! Here are Rob's before and after shots of his ribs!
After a delicious dinner, Rob opened his presents which weren't too excited considering we are STILL living the student life, or as we like to put it so it s
ounds more glamorous, the resident life! Rob received a book about the Red Sox-Yankees Rivalry along with 2 baseball tickets to the Twins vs Tigers game which is in about a week and a half. Hum, I wonder who he is going to take with him? Rob also received a framed picture of our family that he can keep on his desk at school so he doesn't forget who we are after his long days at school! But his favorite present of all 
was his Little Tikes Basketball hoop which is adjustable from 2.5 feet to 4 feet. Just his size!!! Rob has been bothering me for over a month to get Evan a basketball hoop. I knew Evan would enjoy one, but I felt it was more for Rob than Evan, so 
Evan and I gave a toddler basketball hoop to Rob. Hopefully he will be willing to share with Evan!

What a stud our little boy is! As soon as the basket came out of the box, he knew just what to do with it.
He is growing up to be a such a big boy. We are all so proud of him back in the SLC. Tell him to keep those elbows UP!!!!!
