Yesterday marks Rob's half-way to being able to chew again!! Yesterday was 3 weeks post-surgery for Rob. The order was to not chew for 6 weeks after surgery so Rob is half-way there! Rob's recovery is going well. He doesn't have any pain, his swelling continues to decrease by about half every week, his bruising is almost gone (note the yellowness on his neck and cheeks), and he is having tingling in his chin and lower lip. I don't know if I have mentioned in past posts that Rob's lower lip and chin are numb. The doctor says that about 50% of patients get the feeling back by 6 months and 95% get it back by 1 year post-surgery. So since Rob is feeling tingling in his chin and lip and he actually has a little bit of feeling in his lower lip, this is very good news. Hopefully the numbness will be totally gone over the next month or two. That way when he eats he won't look like a 90-year-old with food all over his chin and doesn't realize it is there!

Rob better graduate soon and get a job so we can buy him a new shirt, preferably one without holes!

Hi, Mandy! It is great to see how well you are all doing from your blog! I hope Rob's jaw feels better and better!
Glad things are still improving so well! Congrats on the half way mark!
Hope you all are doing wonderful!
Looks like Rob is getting back to his normal self! Just in time for your guys' world to change (again) with another baby. Sweet! By the way you are looking extremely cute in your pictures but I would have to say that I'm kicking some butt in the circumference arena. Yes, I'm kind of competetive. Let me know how things go!
ps: YOU CUT EVAN'S HAIR! HOW DARE YOU! Just kidding. He looks so cute. I was wondering when you guys would break.
