Rob's jaw continues to heal well and not much of a change since last week, or so we thought. Rob didn't even want pictures taken today because he said he looked the same as last week. But his persistent wife took pictures anyways and we are now both glad she is such a nag! Comparing this week's pictures with last week you can really see a change, mostly a decrease in swelling. Rob has one more week until he can start chewing soft foods! Yeah!! Rob has about 50% of his feeling back in his chin and lower lip. His sutures (stitches) inside his mouth are a really slow dissolving type but they are driving him nuts and one side is getting inflammed. So hopefully the oral surgeon will just take them out. Last week Rob actually started taking some of the sutures out himself because they were bothering him and I refused to do it! I did assist by holding the flashlight. I just didn't want to be the one messing up his million dollar mouth!
