The Monkey and His Trainers

Last Saturday night we went to a Halloween party at Darla's house, who is an orthodontic assistant at Rob's school. Rob and I figured that as long as Evan was in costume we really didn't have to be since all the attention would be on him! Plus what kind of costume am I really going to be able to fit in at this point? So Rob and I went as Monkey Trainers (ha, ha) and Evan was the Monkey. Evan got plenty of attention since he was the only child amongst many adults. One of Rob's classmates, Padrig and his girlfriend, Kelly, (pictured below) gave Evan a Thomas trick or treat pail which he just loves! Evan wanted to sleep with it that night, but we finally convinced him to just place it next to his bed. Now Evan just can't wait to use it to go trick or treating!

Melissa and Josh as a Roman Goddess and Mark Anthony

Latifah as a fairy and Darla as a Geisha Girl

Laura and Craig (what's their non-costume excuse?)

Go Red Sox!! I was happy to know that I knew one family in Minesota that was really enjoying the world series on Sunday night. Eric was cheering for the Rockies so I had to lend my sympathies to him. You are one cute monkey family!

Evan looks great! I love trick or treat bucket too. Thanks for the hints on the caramels. I get bored and like to change the blog (obviously I put off other important things to this) The newest is from pyzam.com, since shabbytulips does weird things sometimes I thought I would try somewhere new.

I was SO bummed that I missed you guys at the party! I told Rob not to leave until we got there, but we didn't arrive until after you left since we were playing paintball all day and had to go shower before heading to the par-tay.
