Way to go Red Sox!

Yeah, our Boston Red Sox won the World Series! Though, we have to admit it was a pretty boring series to watch. There wasn't much suspense and it was pretty much expected that they would win. As Rob said, "It was like watching a college team beat up on a high school team". But it was exciting to see it happen again within our lifetime. Especially since there were people who lived their entire lives being Red Sox fans and never saw them win a World Series and we have seen two in the last 4 seasons. Rob and I credit our babies for the Red Sox success. Every year we have a baby, the Red Sox win the World Series. Evan was born in '04 and our baby girl will be born in '07 so you'll just have to wait and see when the next Taylor baby is scheduled to be born and that is the year the Red Sox will win again! Though after this pregnancy it may either be never or in several years!!

I thought of you guys during game 4... I was in Arizona with some of the pros residents and we were STARVING so we stopped to eat at this dive Chinese buffet (yep, complete with Jell-O and all!). Anyway, it was the last inning, 3 outs to go, and everyone wanted to leave! I was like "hey, don't you want to wait just a little bit to see the end of the 2007 World Series?!?!" But me being the only girl, of course I was outnumbered by four other (non-sports-fans) guys. Hmph... Anyway, congrats. Despite the dull series, at least you have something to be happy about!

That's funny, we claim the same thing. And Jason says since your kids have both been in utero during each series, we have more of a right to it =)

Maybe we should just keep our pregnancies in sync. We don't want to disrupt whatever influence we seem to be having.
