Lily's Big Weigh-In and First Shopping Trip

This morning Lily had another doctor's appointment to check her weight. We were going to find out if the long process of feeding this little girl had paid off. Lily weighed in at 8 lbs 13 ounces! Yeah, she gained 5 ounces in the past 3 days so all the time spent trying to make sure Lily is eating enough paid off. Now we are allowed to let Lily take the lead and see if she can gain weight without supplementing.
After the big weigh in we (my mom and dad, Evan, Lily, and myself) all headed to the Mall of America. This was Lily's first shopping trip and I can tell already she really is going to like it! She pretty much slept the entire time.Evan and my dad went on some rides. Evan is finally tall enough to ride the log chute so my dad and Evan tried it out. From the picture you can tell that there is a pretty big splash at the end. Evan seemed to enjoy most of the ride but told my dad that the part with a HUGE Paul Bunyan with his ax was "scary".
