Lily is 2 weeks old today and I just want to document some cute things about her:*She has the most perfectly shaped head, you would think she was a C-section baby.
*She gets the hiccups a lot, almost after every feeding.
*She snorts when she gets really mad while trying to eat.
*She has really long fingers and feet.
*She has a lot of dark hair, especially in the back. She is trying to sport a mullet.
*She will sleep 6-7 hours at night if I allow her to. But because of her weight gain issues I am suppose to wake her up every 5 hours at night to make her eat. It isn't as easy as it sounds to wake a sleeping baby!
*She is a very content baby, just crys when it is time to eat or when naked (see below).
*She hates her baths! She cries the entire time until I get her dressed.
*I swear she is really smiling already. I know they say it is just gas, but she has smiled several times when Evan or I am talking to her or tickling her belly. Coincidence?
*She weighs 8 lbs 12 ounces and is 20 1/4 inches long
We are so happy to have Lily as a part of our family!
