Tagged...

I have been tagged a few times and never actually done them so this time I thought I would give it a try. I have been tagged by Jill and Jill which funny enough were both Douglas Street girls. So I decided to multi-task and combine the two tags into one since they have similar questions.

10 years ago:

  • I was in my second semester of college at BYU and living with 5 friends from high school at the classic Riviera Apartments. I had just totalled my 1984 Rabbit Convertible at the intersection of University & University. It was a sad day.

5 things on my to do list:

  • Read my scriptures
  • Iron Rob's dress shirts for the first time this year (see explanation under "things people don't know about me")
  • Exercise
  • Prepare sharing time for church on Sunday
  • Clean inside of car

5 jobs I've held:

  • Word Cruncher (Chelsa, those were the good 'ole days!)
  • Nordstrom
  • Apple Contact Lens Center
  • Registered Nurse
  • Mom

5 places I've lived:

  • Spokane, WA
  • Sandy, UT
  • Provo, UT
  • Murray, UT
  • West Jordan, UT
  • Boston, MA
  • Salt Lake City, UT
  • Minneapolis, MN

(or 8 places, whose counting?)

5 favorite snacks:

  • Dove Chocolates
  • Diet Coke with lemon or Diet Cherry Coke with lime
  • Cereal
  • Fresh fruit - blueberries, oranges, bananas, pineapple (I had to have one healthy thing on the list)
  • Any kind of candy - you name it, I probably like it (anything gummy, licorice, Reese's pieces, Twix, you get the point)

5 things I'd do if I were a billionaire:

  • Travel the world and take family and friends with me
  • Buy a home, furnish it, and have a cleaning lady come bi-weekly
  • Take swing dancing classes with Rob and learn to play a musical instrument
  • Pay off Rob's student loans and start up an ortho practice for him
  • Invest for retirement
  • Donate to Church programs
  • College funds for kids
(I know that was 7 things but I like Jill's point - I am a billionaire now so I can do whatever I want!)

Things people don't know about me:

  • I am somewhat of a homebody. If I don't leave the house all day I am fine with it as long as I get out the next day. Maybe part of the problem is that it is in the single digits outside and too cold to leave!
  • I have had the same bottle of hairspray for 2 years and it is only 1/8 gone. Does this stuff ferment?
  • I do ironing quarterly as in 4 times a year! (if I were a billionaire I would have someone iron for me also!)
  • I hate making people feel bad and will stress out for a week if I said something that may have hurt someone.
  • I have become a reader lately. I loved the Twilight series like everyone else and am currently reading Kite Runner.
  • Even though my husband is a dentist, neither of us have had cleanings for 2 years! Gross!
  • I have a hard time passing up a bargain on children's clothing even if it is Evan's 30th shirt or 3 sizes too big!

I tag: whoever needs to update their blog and doesn't know what to post!

Another cute picture taken by our personal photographer - Evan.

Thanks for the comment on the sleep...we've been using the pacifier a little more and that does seem to help, and I have noticed, like you, that Lucy pretty much wakes up at the same time no matter what time she goes to sleep. We're figuring out a little more each day! Have a great weekend.

I didn't realize you were such a homebody! I am the complete opposite--I have to get out everyday. You'll have to comment on my blog about how you liked the Kite Runner; I have mixed feelings. Anyway, if you're looking for a fun, sort of "scandalous" read, I just finished The Other Boelyn Girl and loved it!

I heard Evan is wanting to see a Mammoth, I think there is one at the Natural History Museum at The U.
As for books, like your friend, I had mixed feelings about Kite Runner, I thought it was good but a hard, emotional read... I am reading The Other Boelyn Girl and I agree that it is a fun, scandalous book.
We loved the drawings, it was so nice of Evan to add us to the family picture!

I loved thinking back to the Wordcruncher days. What did we do anyway? I seriously have no idea. Lily is cute as ever. Love ya!

LOL! We are ALWAYS getting one of the kids to take pictures! Its so finny, they actually turn out to be decent pictures! I enjoyed reading your "tagged" synopsis, we are a lot alike (especially when it comes to ironing, only you iron about four times more a year than I do).
