Rob gave Lily a beautiful baby blessing on Sunday. Our Bishop was on pacifier duty so he kept an eye on Lily during the blessing and he said that she was smiling at Rob the entire time. This is a perfect example of Lily's bright, happy personality.
Lily looked so cute in her blessing dress. Thanks Grandma Cindy! It was a great day though it would have been nice to have our families there. Though on the positive side, it was nice to focus on the blessing and not have to worry about having a big party at our house afterwards since we don't have family around.
I love Lily's blessing dress. I looked everywhere for a dress and just couldn't find what I had in mind for a reasonable price. Then we came across this dress and I loved it. My mom embellished it with the pearls on the chest, the flowers on the bottom and the brown sash. My big worry was that Lily was going to puke all over the dress. Well Lily actually did pretty well on Sunday and just drooled a bit around the neck. Then yesterday I put her in her dress for less than 5 minutes to get a picture. Right when I took the last picture I picked her up to take her out of the dress and she puked all down the front of it! So the dress is at the dry cleaners as I type this.
Two silly kids! Evan only allows a few pictures of Lily alone and then he jumps into the pictures.

I replied to the email, but must say again that it was a beautiful blessing, and I too love the dress! She is so cute, and getting big too fast. All the pics on this post are so adorable, I love Evan's expression on the last one.
We too are sorry that we couldn't be there, but appreciate you sending all the info so we feel like we didn't totally miss out.
That dress is beautiful...not to mention the baby in it! Wish we could have been there.
Correction: Your sister Stephanie embellished it with the pearls on the chest...I'm not allowing anyone else credit for that, it wasn't an easy task.
