Wicked

Last night my mom, sister-in-law Mindi, and I went to Wicked! My mom had given us tickets for our birthdays and now the day had finally come to see the show. Wicked does a lottery where you can put your name in for 2 tickets at $25 each. They draw 10 names each night. You have to be at the theater 2 hours before the show starts and they drew the names 1 1/2 hours before the show started. Since we were already going downtown early to eat we thought we might as well try our shot at the lottery to see if we could get tickets for Mindi's mom and my aunt, both wanted to see the show desperately. My mom and I kept talking about how we have NEVER won anything in our lives but hey why not wait in the cold, rain for fun! Well funny thing, my mom's name was drawn! We were seriously freaking out and so were Mindi's mom and my aunt who were so excited to see Wicked. Before the show started we went over to Olive Garden to eat and we must have been on a winning streak because Mindi won a free dessert for having a picture of her dog in her purse! Wish I could say I won something, but seeing Wicked was like winning! Wicked was wicked (said in Boston accent in case you didn't hear it correctly)! I had heard great things about it and it truly did not disappoint!! It was simply amazing! I would definitely like to see it again! Thanks Mom!
