Today Evan and I took a trip to
Aamodt's Apple Farm with his friends Grant and Lauren. It was a pretty drive with the leaves changing and the fall crispness in the air. I just love this time of year, though I wish it weren't getting so cold so fast! It was a cute farm with a petting zoo, hay maze, hay mountain and of course apples!

Evan had a great time feeding the animals and trying to poke their eyes while he said, "Mom, eye, eye". Inside the farm house they sold everything you could ever imagine to make with apples: apple

pie, apple honey, caramel apples, apple scones, apple critters, apple cider, apple jam, apple donuts, apple muffins, apple brauts, applesauce, apple lotion, and so on. I couldn't resist and had to try their apple scone and caramel apple. Both were delicious!! Besides the great food, my favorite part was this darling red barn. It

was where they sold wine from their vineyard. I am sure they had some kind of apple wine. Who knew you could do so much with apples?!
