What a beautiful day for a wedding!
Stephanie, Rob's sister, got married to Brian Billingsley in
Mount Timpanogos Temple this

afternoon. It was a day full of blue skies and lots of sunshine. You couldn't ask for a more clear day. Stephanie's children, Whitney and Taylor, looked so darling all dressed up for their mom's wedding. Whitney was wearing a beautiful raw silk dress with a "skunk tail" as Whitney likes to call it. The skunk tail is an iridescent

orange sash that wraps around her waist and then the "tails" come down the back. It is such a pretty dress. And Whitney's hair was so pretty in curls with flowers. Taylor was in a tux. What is cuter then a little boy running around in a tux with black, square-toed Kenneth Cole dress shoes?!

Now to the bride. Stephanie looked beautiful and not only beautiful but very happy! Brian and Stephanie were all smiles the whole day. Everytime I asked Stephanie how she was doing, she would say, "Perfect". I guess it doesn't get any better than that!

After the temple ceremony, Rob and I, Jenny, Grandpa and Grandma McFarlane, and Rob's uncle Jeff went to
Cafe Rio to get a bite to eat. Yum, Yum. Rob and I try to eat at Cafe Rio as much as we can when we are visiting Salt Lake. This was our second trip to the Rio so far this vacation. After eating Rob and I went to visit my aunt Mindy's new baby boy, Parker. He is only a few weeks old and seems so little. I swear Evan was never that little. It is funny how easily we forget as they grow older. Mindy has 3 girls so this boy was very much welcomed into their family. It was nice cuddling with a little newborn, though I am not ready myself to have those sleepless nights again! I'll just enjoy the benefits of holding other people's babies and they can deal with the nights and every 2 hour feedings!!

After the visit with baby Parker, Rob and I headed to Stephanie and Brian's "garden gala". It was in the backyard of one of Brian's friend's parents' house. It was a gorgeous night and fun times were had at the gala! The food was catered by Tacono's Brazilian Grill and was delicious! The cake was gorgeous and had tiny goldfish swimming below it. And

best of all,
Peter Brienholt was the band! It was nice to have a free concert! Rob and I really like Peter's music and it was fun to be, so called, up close and personal. We danced for awhile and had a great time. I danced with Taylor and he had so much fun. He was all smiles. It made Rob and I miss Evan. We had left Evan at my mom's house for the ceremony and reception. We did this so we could enjoy ourselves and not have to drive from West Jordan to Sandy to drop Evan off to American Fork for the ceremony to Sandy to pick up Evan to Orem for the reception then to West Jordan. Rob

and I definitely are happy we did so, but Evan would have had a blast dancing with his cousins.
We are so happy for Stephanie and Brian and wish them the best! Congratulations and thanks for a fun day and evening!
