Snow Ball Fight!

This past weekend we received a foot of snow! I was happy because it makes everything look so much prettier in the winter. I am also glad because we have a Primary sledding activity this Saturday and prior to this storm we didn't have any snow on the ground. I was not so happy because Rob was out of town in Michigan at an orthodontic conference which meant it was me who was the snow-shoveler.

Evan and I took advantage of the snow yesterday. We spent the afternoon throwing snowballs, trudging through the snow (which came up to Evan's thighs!), splashing in melted snow puddles, and weaving in-and-out of trees. Evan's understanding of the term "Snow Ball Fight" is a little misconstrued. He thought it was so funny to throw the snowballs at me and then have me make him more snowballs. I started "recycling" the snowballs and just giving Evan the ones he already threw. To say the least, Evan had a great time. Like usual, Evan didn't want to come inside even though his hands were wet and cold. We are suppose to receive another foot to foot and a half of snow on Thursday and Friday so I am sure we will be having another snow ball fight soon!

He's getting big! He looks like he's really losing the baby look in those pictures! I like the one with him throwing a snowball at you! Get ready for more snow--whatever we get here seems to hit you guys a day or two later. It snowed again last night. I keep forgetting to answer your mange question. Tell Brenda to rest easy, after a couple convulsions, the girls held up pretty well. HA! Just kidding!

Isn't it funny how many connections you make in the blog world!? So do you know Jonathan and Melanie Fillmore? He would have been a first year when your husband graduated. They are our neighbors.
I'd love to hear about life after dental school and about your specialty program sometime. Thanks for making the connection!
And p.s. your son is DARLING!!
