Evan is such a good helper around the house! Okay, I am partly serious and partly kidding. On the serious note, Evan is really good about cleaning up his toys and putting them where they belong. But on the kidding note, Evan loves to make messes while he eats. One of his favorite things to do is to get food on his cup so that it is dirty and needs to be cleaned. I think this comes from Thomas the Tank Engine movies where they get dirty and have to go to the washdown to get cleaned.

Another one of Evan's daily chores is to take every can out of the pantry and put it on the table. I think this all started because

Evan really enjoys unloading the groceries out of the bags. He will take
items out of the grocery bags and hand them to me to put away. His favorite thing to say while unloading is "heavy" and have this look of "oh, I am going to drop this"!
These past two weeks Evan has reviled in reorganizing the pantry. It keeps him busy for
awhile and doesn't

take me long to put things back where they belong so I allow him to have his fun while I get something done. I really think that Evan believes it is of great help to me to do this daily chore!

Evan you are such an awesome helper! Looks like your having as much fun in the pantry as you were having in the puddles. At least your shoes will stay dry. We miss you! Love you, Grandma Cindy
When can Evan come over and clean out my pantry? Does he give classes on doing household chores. I will be signing up Addie and Hollynd if he wouldn't mind taking on a couple apprentices. Ha!
Evan, I know you can't read this but I thought I would drop you a line since you probably don't get too many comments. The hair is still looking good kid, Don't let your mom cut it until we can get it in a nice white-trash pony-tail. Glad you are keeping busy rearranging the pantry. Remember your favorit uncle and aunt. Michael and Mindi
Don't let me teach you how to spell. I just learned how to spell favorite.
Can Evan come give Ethan a lesson in putting toys away? He thinks it's a fun game to try to dump out things as I'm cleaning up.
Great pictures, love the posts!!
In hopes to be the favorite brother-in-law I will post a comment here. That Evan is a winner. In fact I can picture you or Rob or if you are resourceful you have a recording of you guys saying to him while he sleeps, "You are winner." That way he wakes up and does things a winner would do. Not a loser.
I love the hair. Its so adorable. It's so funny that he pulls all the food out of the cabinets. Chris wants it noted that we also have that same can of Stagg Chili ( I think it's been there since last October!)
I like the way Evan is so neat about lining up all the cans on the table but at the same time, versatile enough to stand on apple sauce that has fallen by the wayside in the pantry. It shows that he likes to be neat but isn't afraid to get messy to get a job done! It is snowing right now in Utah if you were wondering.
Okay, so after I go grocery shopping Jared comes home and does the same thing . . . he used to work in a longs drugs stocking shelves. Likes to have all labels facing outward . . . could be a future in this for little Evan.
Oh Evan you cutie! Looks like you know how to get the job done right. Keep lining those cans up all neat. We miss you and so does Barkley. Love Grandma B.
That hair is to die for!! What a cutie! Your description of Evan sounds like how my husband would describe me! I help around the house, but am messy in the kitchen...only I’m cooking, not eating!
Glad you are reliving Boston through us. We really do love it and I can see why you would miss being here. And I, like you, can’t wait for the decks to be off the living room floor and for all the piles of study material to be gone! Almost there, right!?
