Since Rob has this week off for Spring Break and we weren't traveling anywhere, we decided to go have some fun around town, 2-year-old fun that is. Monday we went to Mall of America for some food, shopping,
Legoland, and of course rides. Even though Evan doesn't look excited, he really does love riding the train. He tells us the train is Percy, or sometimes James or Henry.

Evan loves the race cars even though they whip you around pretty fast. He always wants to ride in the green car because it is "Chick" from Cars the movie. Of course Chick always wins also!

Evan wanted to ride on the horses, aka Carousel. I told Evan to smile for Daddy when we came around to where he was standing. Evan sure did smile and kept this
perma-
cheezer for the rest of the ride. I couldn't stop laughing! It was so funny.

Yesterday we went to the
Children's' Museum. Evan loved it like usual! There is a special Bob the Builder exhibit that Evan loves. Can't you tell by his smile?

Evan loves this ball chute that you push the balls into and then you can turn the crank on the other side and all the balls you have pushed in will come out. Mostly he just loves that air blows out of the hole!
Here's Evan taking Scoop for a ride. Note Rob on the right hand side with his Bob the Builder hard hat on!

Evan wasn't so sure the hard hat was necessary.

We even got to meet Bob the Builder!! Evan was a little unsure of Bob, but did give him a high-5.

We spent about 30 minutes at the "Beaver Dam". Evan would crawl through the "tunnel" (Evan relates everything to trains!) and then come down the slide. They even have little beaver vests with beaver tails on them to wear so you feel like a real beaver in your dam!

It has been really nice to have Rob home. We have relaxed a lot and played hard. Rob is on call the last part of this week through the weekend so we will have to stick close by. Though he will probably only get paged once in the 4 days. We just love orthodontics!
