Today was gorgeous! 65 degrees and you could actually feel the warmth of the sun. That is the best feeling- the

sun! Well it won't last for long since tomorrow is suppose to be 40 but I will take as much as I can get. It is amazing to think that last week we had 2 feet of snow - these top 2 pictures were taken last week. The one on the left is a view, or lack of a view, out of Evan's window. It was nice to have 2 huge snowstorms, but I am now ready for it all to melt and get on with spring.

The ironic thing is even though we had a warm day we still have snow. It is melting quickly so it is double heaven for kids - big puddles and snow balls. Evan has had a blast these past two days. And to show for it, 2 of Evan's 3 pairs of shoes are soaking wet. The pair from

yesterdays puddle jumping excursion are still wet and now we have the shoes he wore today which are also wet. So we are down to one pair of shoes. Looks like no puddle jumping tomorrow! I guess I could go get some
rain boots or as Rob calls them, galoshes. But isn't it much more fun getting your shoes wet when

you know you aren't suppose to? I just couldn't stop Evan from running through the puddles. He was having way too much fun. Plus, once he ran through once, his shoes and pants were already wet so did it really matter if they got more wet? Not really!

Well Evan started the outing off with his jacket on and after going on a walk and throwing a few snowballs he was begging to have his jacket off. What a workout throwing all those snowballs! Rob got home early today (5:30pm) and was able to throw snowballs with Evan. Evan would say "Daddy's turn" which means "Dad it is your turn to make snowballs for me to throw at you and your car!". What a great day - puddles, snowballs, and no jackets!

Puddels, snow drifts and a little bit of sunshine - ahhh the perfect combination for a 2 year old. Watch out about the gloshes . . . we got Hadley some green frog gloshes (the ones on our blog) and she insists on wearing them everywhere - rain or shine.
Look at all the snow! Gads! Little Evy isn't so little anymore! And P.S. Henry currently has 1 pair of shoes! No puddle jumpin in these parts.
Who needs toys when you have lots of puddles and piles of snow? All of our snow is now melted and everything looks gross, I think I'd rather have it covered in a beautiful blanket of snow, until everything is ready to turn green. Evan we sure do miss you, (and your Mom and Dad too!) Hugs and kisses to you all. Love ya, Grandma Cindy
Yeah! Mandy posted on her blog! How fun! Yippee for Spring! I love the pictures of Evan running through the puddles. He looks like he's having so much fun!
