Evan loves the
Thomas and Friends website. It all started last winter when Rob introduced him to it. In the beginning Evan would just watch Rob and I play the games. Now Evan navigates through the website all by himself and plays the different games he chooses. He doesn't understand all of the games, but sure has a fun time trying. Evan could probably play it for hours if we would only let him! Evan's favorite games are the matching game and the online coloring pages. I am pretty impressed at how well he can use the mouse on the laptop. I mean, I struggle with it at times!

We're trying to get Evan interested in potty training. I am not in a huge rush and don't really want to attempt it until he is ready, but want Evan to get use to the idea. It is very obvious when Evan is having a bowel movement so we will ask him if he wants to use the toilet and every time we get a

very loud "NO". Evan is just learning about how incentives and rewards work, aka bribes. He really wants a train named Arthur, but we told him he has to go potty in the toilet first, to which he emphatically and fearfully declares no. Evan won't even sit on the toilet! The other day I was taking Evan upstairs and we walked by Rob while he was using the bathroom and nonchalantly Evan turned to me and said,
"Daddy gets Arthur". You know Evan was thinking in his head that this was fabulous news because Daddy would let Evan play with his new train Arthur and Evan didn't even have to use the toilet!! The minds of toddlers!
