Yesterday marked two weeks since Rob's jaw surgery. I'll have to admit he is recovering much faster than I assumed he would. Rob's swelling has decreased tremendously and his pain is minimal at this point. After talking a lot or eating a big meal where he has to open and close his jaw a lot, are really the only times Rob complains of pain. Rob's energy level is almost back to normal which Evan appreciates so Rob can play "Daddy's going to get you" (Evan's favorite game of Rob chasing after Evan and tickling him). Rob has been quite the trooper through all of this and we are glad the worst part is behind us!

Rob has been back to school since last Friday and is doing well with his long days and hectic schedule. The assistants and front desk staff are still on strike but Rob has been doing well as a one man show. Rob has been taking off a lot of braces lately so in a few months his schedule will hopefully lighten up a bit. All of the new patients go to the first year residents so Rob just has to deal with the 150+ patients he has now. Hopefully here in two months when our little girl arrives, Rob's schedule won't be so crazy and he will actually be able to be at the birth of his daughter :)

Evan was jealous that dad was getting his picture taken and kept telling me, "I want to smile". So here is the little man.

Glad to know that aside from talking, eating, and breathing through his mouth Rob is back to 100%. :)JK Glad to hear the recoup is going well! Hope you are feeling well too Mandy!
Wow--I think Rob is going to look a little different. Do you think? One of my brother's mission companions had his jaw broken to correct an overbite, and he looked like a totally different person! I don't think Rob will be that different, but a little--don't ya think?
