We took these pictures toward the end of August before Rob's surgery. They were taken with Rob's camera so I forgot about them until now. This picture was taken on the bike trail that runs behind our house. Evan loves this area of the trail because the train tracks are so close to the trail and there is a park on the opposite side. Rob and I like it because it is so scenic and we wish we lived in those red condos!
We love this park! It has huge trees that shade it on a hot day and it is only a 20 minute walk on the bike trail from our house.
Good timing! The train came by while we were at the park so we ran over to the tracks to check it out up close.
Evan has so excited to see the train that close up. Rob and I were a little scared because it was so close to us we could almost touch it!
Evan loves to bury his cars in the sand so Rob decided to bury Evan's legs and Evan thought it was hilarious. Evan kept asking, "Where's Evan's feet, where's Evan's legs?". (Yes, he still talks in third person just like Karl Malone).
Yeah, Evan found his leg! I love that he acts like he really doesn't know where his legs went!

Sorry to hear about Rob's surgery. That does NOT look fun. Glad he's on the mend.
PS Ethan's favorite game to play with his dad is "chase" (basically sprinting back and forth up and down the hall. It wears Jason out). Are all little boys the same??
