Evan is Officially 3!

Happy 3rd Birthday Evan! Since we actually celebrated Evan's birthday a month early, I don't have any more birthday pictures to post. However I love this picture of Evan and I eating "Nem & Nem's" (what Evan calls M&M's). I do want to make a list of some of Evan's favorite things at this fun age of 3.

*Evan still LOVES trains. He loves playing trains, seeing real trains, watching train movies, coloring in train coloring books, reading train books, playing with train cards, you get the point!
*Evan loves to eat Cheerios or Oatmeal for breakfast. This is usually his best meal of the day and can eat a big bowl of it.
*Evan loves to eat "Macamoni & Cheese", quesadilla, or chicken nuggets for lunch.
*Evan's favorite color is red.
*Evan loves letters and numbers. While at the grocery store he always lets me know what aisle number we are on. He also spells STOP every time we come to a stop sign.
*Evan is very particular that his socks are put on correctly. The seam across the toes has to be perfectly straight. "Sock falling off" is a phrase I hear at least once a day.
*Evan loves to sing and has memorized over 10 songs, including one in Portuguese.
*Evan has a very good memory and will recall things that Rob and I have forgotten about.
*Evan has found cooking to be quite fun. He always says "I want to cook it" when I am preparing food.
*Evan wants to know what every little noise is. He is always saying, "What's that noisy?".
*Evan Loves dogs! Even though I am not a huge animal lover, if we lived somewhere we could have a dog I would get one for him. A dog is almost like a babysitter for Evan since it keeps him occupied & entertained. Though I am not sure if dogs really like Evan! He can be a bit rough with them.
*Evan loves to play with his dad. The first thing Rob hears when he walks in the door after school is "Let's Play Dad!". They play trains, "hiding", "get you", Lego's, and cars.
*Evan has gotten a little lazy in his speech and has shortened phases such as "What did you say, Mom?" to "Say Mom?"
*Rob and I love to cuddle with Evan, but he will only cuddle when he is tired, sick, or just waking up. We take advantage of these times. For awhile Evan wouldn't give kisses, but he is back to giving the best kisses. Though he has terms with his kisses - only on the cheeks, not on the lips, and you only get 2!
*Evan is a good big brother - he gets Lily her pacifier, turns on her mobile or her music on her swing, gets clean diapers and throws away the dirty ones, and loves to talk to her so she smiles.
*Evan's friends are: Ben, Grant, Lauren, Olivia, Landon - from church and Shannon, Sebas, Quinn, Ava, Caroline, Lily, & Allie - from ECFE.
*3 Year Old Stats:
30 Pounds
36 Inches
Size 8 Shoe
3T Clothes

*Evan is so much fun to be around. We love him so much and are so happy he is in our family! We are excited for another fun-filled year!

Evan is so cute! Jackson turns 4 in May, and I have to say, 3 year-olds are so fun to be around. They say and do the funniest things!

By the way, did you cut your hair or does the pictures just look like you did? Very cute either way!
