Our Little Elf

I bought this hat last year for Evan at Old Navy for 49 cents. It is an extra-small so I assumed it was a boys XS as in 4T or so. Once I got it home I realized it was way too small for Evan. It is a bit big on Lily, but too cute to resist putting on her and taking a photo. Lily is eating better and hopefully when she goes to the doctor on Wednesday for her big weigh-in she will have put on some weight. Lily is so fun to have with us and such a good baby. She rarely cries, just when she is hungry or naked (she hates being naked!). She will sleep 6-8 hours at night, though I am suppose to wake her up after 5 hours to feed her. Good luck waking up a sleeping baby, or at least this sleeping baby.
Speaking of sleep, Evan woke up at 6:45am today. Way too early! I had just gotten done feeding Lily and was ready to go back to bed for an hour when I heard Evan walking down the stairs. I attempted to get him back to sleep without any luck. So he played trains on the floor while I layed on the couch with Lily. I must of fallen asleep for 20 minutes or so and this is what I woke up to - Evan playing on the kitchen table with every one of his trains strategically placed. I wanted to get mad that he was sitting on the table, but I just had to laugh!

Speaking of laughing, Evan has been saying the funniest things lately. Today I was getting breakfast for Evan and Lily started to cry. Evan walked over to her and said, "Hold on a minute Lily". I wonder where Evan has heard that before?
