Look who's 1 year shy of the big 3-0!

Yes today is my 29th birthday! Pretty exciting stuff! To start off my birthday right, Rob and I met with a dental supply company to talk about starting up an orthodontic practice in Utah. A bit too much stress for one's birthday may I say! Then I went with my sister Steph and sister-in-law Mindi to have a pedicure and manicure. Now that was no stress whatsoever! This was the first time I have ever had this done and may I say I now know why people do this on a regular basis. As much as I would want to have it done weekly, it really isn't in the budget right now. Then back to my parents' house for dinner - paninis and soup - with the family. My whole family was there, all 4 siblings and spouses, my parents, and my grandparents. Here is my Grandma with Lily.The highlight of the night was an ice cream cake from Cold Stone - Yummy!! Evan loved blowing out the candles and then he wanted to lick the candles like he did on his birthday. And yes, once again he licked the wick end instead of the end that was in the cake!!Of course the gifts are always nice also :) Evan was once again my helper. He thought I wasn't watching him sneak open the gift!Just what a girl living in Minnesota needs - a down vest and a ......warm, long, down coat! Thanks Mom and Dad.And what does a new mom need? Comfortable clothes. Thanks Rob, Evan, and Lily.We'll see what this year holds leading up to my big 3-0!
