For some reason or another I seem to do laundry on Thursdays more than any other day of the week. I don't plan it that way. I guess our laundry baskets start to overflow after exactly one week. Thus it is a vicious cycle of Thursday being laundry day. Well Evan loves to help me "fold" the clean clothes, which in Evan's world this means handing me each clothing item one at a time so I can fold them. And then when we have all of the clothes folded he thinks he should take my nicely folded stacks of clothes and throw them back into the laundry basket so we can play our fun game again. I don't think he realizes that I don't love the game as much as he does! Well today was a very rainy day, so rainy that all of our windows

on our main floor leaked. Evan and I were inside for most of the day so doing laundry was Evan's highlight of his day. Today he decided it would be fun to put the dirty clothes into the dryer. He would open the dryer, place a dirty towel in, then close it. Evan would then pick up another dirty piece of clothing, open the dryer, put it in and then close the dryer. This game went on for about 15 minutes. He had a great time loading the dryer with dirty clothes. Then when I thought he was tired of his chores, he started to unload the dirty clothes from the dryer. The things that amuse children. I just wish all of Evan's efforts would have got my laundry done faster, though it did keep Evan occupied so I could sort and start the laundry.

Since it was raining all day, we built many lego towers, castles, airplanes, monsters. The great thing about legos is it keeps Evan entertained building something and then I think he enjoys wrecking it just as much. He got this lego table about a month ago and it has been such a hit. He loves standing or kneeling up to it to build his masterpieces. Then when he is done he has been really good about putting the legos back into the side pockets. Hopefully he will continue to do that!

Oh my gosh! Evan is getting so big and he is looking more like Robert. Sorry I am going to be honest, I didn't read much, but I looked at all the pictures! :)
India still plays with her lego table; this exact model too.
We loved visiting with you the other day! We had a blast. I just love Evan's personality. He's such a chillin' kind of a guy. Can't wait to hear from you guys again!
