Evan's First Fingerpainting Adventure

Beautiful artwork. I think Evan could sell these paintings for millions! Today was Evan's first experience with fingerpaints. Thus far Evan hasn't been too interested in any type of arts and crafts. Whether it be at his ECFE class or nursery at church, he doesn't want to do the art or craft project the other kids are doing. Evan is too busy playing with the trucks and cars. So I decided to do a little fingerpainting at home and see if I could make Evan not so anti-craft. Well Evan took to the fingerpaints a lot better than I thought he would. At first he didn't want to touch the paint, but once I forced him to put his hand in the paint (ha, ha), he loved it! Evan thought it was so great to move his hands around in the paint and make cool designs. I think fingerpainting will be a good indoor winter activity. Too bad it doesn't take a lot of time to do though!
