Ward Halloween Carnival

Oh what fun a ward Halloween carnival is!! Tonight was our ward Halloween carnival and it was a huge hit! We combined with another ward for the event and had over 100 people attend the party! There was lots of food, games, and of course trick-or-treating! Some of the carnival booths were: donut on a string (eating a donut off a string without using your hands), Halloween bingo, gourd painting, pick a duck, guess how much (how much a huge pumpkin weighed, how much candy in a jar), Halloween tic-tac-toe bean toss, and Halloween bowling. The lady who was in charge did a fabulous job decorating! It was a little chaotic at times with that many people, but the kids had a great time. I think the adults enjoyed themselves also! Princesses, witches, vampires, and even Cruella De'Vil showed up. There were many great costumes but of course my favorite was my little guy in his pirate attire, even though he wouldn't wear his hat. I didn't get a good full view picture of Pirate Evan so I will have to try again on Halloween. Evan's favorite things to do at the carnival were to kick a balloon around and play in the pick a duck water basin as if it were a bathtub! Can we say easily entertained? I didn't give much thought to my costume considering I was a nurse. But I figured that since I am not working right now that I can dress up as one! It was an easy, comfortable, and free costume!

Happy Hauntings!!
