Bowling!

Rob went into his lab this morning and there was nothing for him to do so he came home around noon! Yeah! It is always a nice surprise when Rob comes home early. "Early" usually means 5 pm so today was a special treat! We had to take advantage of this opportunity so we went bowling! We had so much fun and Evan even bowled his own game with bowling shoes and all! How cute are those shoes? Evan had a blast and couldn't wait for his turn. When it wasn't his turn, Evan would go to the rack where the extra balls are and push them around. This is something we will definitely have to do again soon!

Lily was feeling left out since she didn't get to bowl her own game, so we included her foot in the picture also.Evan loved to pick which color ball to use and push it down the ramp.I loved that we had the guard rails up so I couldn't get a gutter ball!Every time after the ball hit the pins, Evan would run back and check his score.It was pretty close in the beginning, though Evan was always "winning" or so he told us!Though it didn't remain close the entire game. Rob pulled ahead and won with 144, I was 92, and Evan was 71 - not too bad for a 3-year-old especially since the lady next to us got 26!Evan and I thought Rob cheated, but now I wonder if it was just all of those nachos he ate!?Enjoy the video!
